Mark Mahieu has put together a javac build with a sample implementation of the CICE and ARM proposals (the ones Josh Bloch brought up at JavaPolis as an alternative to BGGA closures). I’m too lazy to play around with it myself at the moment, but I hope this will help move the debate forward. Mr. Mahieu’s been playing around with BGGA a lot, too — worth checking out.
